Harris McCormack Architects
Creating a refined, modern identity and digital experience for the Harris McCormack Architects rebrand and portfolio website.
The Harris McCormack Architects rebrand was born out of a need to align the studio’s visual identity and website with the calibre of its work. Known for delivering award-winning architecture, HMA needed a brand presence that reflected its creativity, professionalism and growing recognition in the industry.
We began by evolving the name Harris McCormack Architects into the shorthand ‘HMA’ – a confident, minimal mark that feels architectural in itself. This became the cornerstone of the refreshed identity: a modernised logo that simplifies and sharpens their visual presence while honouring their original colour palette of black, grey and orange for brand continuity.
Design detail was key. A responsive site header begins with the full logotype and shifts to the simplified brand mark as users scroll – a deliberate move to quickly build brand recognition and reinforce familiarity with the HMA identity.
The website was designed to house a growing portfolio of standout projects. Each project page provides space for large-format photography and clear, informative text – striking the right balance between visual impact and insight. The CMS was structured for intuitive in-house editing, ensuring the team can keep the site fresh as new work comes in.
The result is a sleek, future-facing brand and website that truly reflect HMA’s architectural ethos – precise, expressive and beautifully considered. It’s a digital platform that finally does justice to the studio’s talent.
