New Forest National Park

Public cycle hire scheme

The New Forest National Park needed clear, engaging design materials to gather feedback on a proposed bike hire scheme. Accessible questionnaires and visuals made it easy for users to respond, helping shape the Park’s understanding of public needs.

Guided by design

The New Forest National Park Authority was exploring a potential bike hire scheme and needed a series of small-scale design pieces to help gather public feedback. Our role was to design materials that clearly explained the concept while making it easy for people to share their thoughts.

Clarity and accessibility were key. Questionnaires were designed to guide readers naturally through the content – using layout, hierarchy and spacing to support comprehension without bias. Supporting leaflets and posters visually demonstrated how the scheme might work and who could benefit.

Driven by insight

The resulting materials were clean, informative and easy to complete, ensuring data could be gathered and analysed with confidence. The thoughtful use of design helped turn a complex consultation into a straightforward, engaging experience – giving the National Park valuable insight into what potential users wanted, and what they didn’t.
